Earth Hour in Rivne, Ukraine

Environmental action “Earth Hour” took place all over the world on March 27th. Environmental center of the City Palace of Youth and Children was the Earth Hour action coordinator in Rivne.

Schoolchildren held a big campaign with the goal to remind townspeople that electricity and nature resources should be saved.
Schoolchildren were so convincing that many Rivne inhabitants turned off the lights for one hour on March 27th, to approve of their understanding of the global climate change issue and the necessity of careful use of electricity and nature recourses.
