23-24 of June SPARE coordinators from 10 Russian regions gathered together to the annual meeting/seminar to discuss project development, SPARE integration to the state educational system, schoolchildren activity for raising public awareness on climate change and low-carbon local solutions, application of simple energy saving measures on the local level.
Coordinators discussed an NGO-experience of cooperation with business and authorities in regions of Russia. In Eastern, Siberian, Ural, Privolzhski, Central and North-Western regions SPARE-NGOs entered into cooperation with institutes and institutes for development of competence for teachers, centers for development of education. More than 650 schools in Russia use SPARE-materials in school and additional education. SPARE-schools and NGOs work hard for dissemination of energysaving ideas and experiences among people. People envolved in SPARE erase avareness about value of energysavins for decreasing of negative influence human for climate change – take actions, information campains, open seminars and round tables.
During the seminar winners of Russian level of SPARE competition “Energy and Environment” got their prizes. Among winners in the nomination for pupils: energysaving projects for village house and for city flat, projects with using of renewables for village, energysaving modernization of lighting, enrgyeconomical stile for travelling. The best pedagogical projects explane climate changing and practical actions for decreasing of emissins of greenhouse gases.
