On 28th April a wonderful celebration for the awarding of the SPARE competition was organized in Veliko Tarnovo by Vocational school for architecture and geodesy "Angel Popov". Greta Rasheva from 10th grade of the school won first place in the national SPARE competition for 2010/2011.
Greta's project "Energy efficient home" will compete in the international competition together with students from 16 countries. Greta presented her project and answered the questions about her work.
On the celebration there were present teachers, students, the principal of the school eng. Marin Tsonev, local media (Opens internal link in current windowpress clipping). The expert of the Regional Inspectorate of Education Boyanka Dimitrova granted the award to Greta.
The principal eng. Tsonev declared his total support for the energy and environmental education. The students and the teachers from this school have been participating in many initiatives and international projects in this field. The biggest international educational project SPARE is highly appreciated in the Vocational school "Angel Popov".
