First SPARE seminar in Bulgaria

The SPARE program started very promising in Sofia. It was met with interest and curiosity by the teachers who were enrolled in the project in Bulgaria. The first SPARE seminar took place in Sofia on 21st Nov. More than 80 teachers from the entire country took part in the training.

They received the informational materials and took part in a big discussion of how can the project be implemented in the Bulgarian school system. Many ideas were shared and exchanged – mostly on practical education and methods.

The representative of the Ministry of education Mariana Bancheva was present and supported the goals and the approach of the SPARE program. The Ministry of the environment and water also greeted the project and declared their interest in further cooperation.
